CHICAGO (September 22, 2022) – Craig Van Pelt has joined Cresa as Director, Head of Research, to lead the firm’s global research function and provide insights into trends that impact occupiers of real estate. He will be based in Nashville.
“Craig’s experience delivering market knowledge in client-facing roles makes him a natural fit for this position. In addition to content development, he will be available to support existing client relationships and business development activities,” said Cresa President Greg Schementi.
Mr. Van Pelt has over 20 years of commercial real estate experience in the public, private, and non-profit sectors, recently serving as the Director of Research and Strategy – Southeast for JLL, where he oversaw market reporting, content development, and assisted in business development. Prior to that he held positions as Research Director at CoreNet Global and Senior Director for Real Estate Advisory Services at Clarion Associates.
Mr. Van Pelt holds a BA in Urban Planning from Miami University in Oxford, OH, and an MBA from the University of Michigan.
