Cresa's Culture: Ownership + Opportunity

What is the culture like at Cresa?

At Cresa, culture is everything.  As an employee-owned company, we empower our people to take ownership, chart their own paths, and drive success through creativity and persistence. We’re not about hero ball; we thrive on teamwork, relationships, and an entrepreneurial mindset. With a future of limitless growth ahead, we’re looking for the right people to help us push the industry forward.

Culture. GSD. We “Get Stuff Done.”

The opportunity at Cresa is that you can make your own path. I’ve been at almost every other big national firm and my best experience has been at Cresa, obviously, I’ve been here 11 going on 12 years.

We are an employee-owned company. You are an owner in the business and that’s really exciting.

We just continue to grow, so it’s a great time to consider this company, because who knows where it will be in the next 3-5 years, and I’m really excited about that.

The right fit is somebody who has a passion for this industry and is very interested in team success. We’re not playing hero ball here.

A lot of what we do is going out and finding clients. Put simply, you have to be a dog. You have to find business. This is a business that rewards creativity and persistence.

For somebody to join here, they have to have that entrepreneurial mindset and be just genuinely curious about how they can help other people.

Every day is going to bring about different challenges, some for the good, some for the bad. Definitely some perseverance needs to be able to come in.

The wrong fit for Cresa? People who are not open to change. Someone who wants to stay in their lane and just do one thing.

You can’t be lazy. Someone who come in and the first thing out of their mouth is “What am I making on this?” Someone who thinks about transactions and not relationships, that’s who we don’t want at Cresa.

You need to come in and say, “What’s the right thing for the client? What’s the right thing for the team? And if you don’t have that mindset, you are not going to be a great fit here.

If you don’t believe in the tenant rep only model and the fact that we are disruptors in the industry you are not going to be a fit here. The future is petal to the floor, that’s what it is. Continuing to build with the right people, that is what I’m really excited about.
