Client Objectives

As a leading independent mortgage lender in the United States specializing in residential home loans, Guild Mortgage was looking to expand their footprint in the Vancouver, Washington market. Having completed a tenant improvement project in their existing space and expansion in to an adjacent space in East Vancouver just a few months prior, Guild strategically was looking at opening a new branch in the West Vancouver sub market. With excess furniture from another branch and very little out of pocket expense on hand, Guild looked at Cresa Project Management once again to provide a cost-effective solution that would meet their needs in a timely manner.

Results

Cresa’s Project Manager, along with the architect, immediately went to work by providing value engineered options right from the start that not only met Guild’s standards but showed consistency with the East Vancouver branch. After bidding out the construction, a team was selected that understood our budget and supportive of our objective. Our goal was to focus on warm and subtle finishes that would complement the existing furniture while creating a space that would attract new talent and would also be inviting to their customers. While leveraging Guild’s existing relationships for new ancillary furniture and low voltage, as well as leveraging the contractor’s experience with the city and county had with the city and county, we were able to open the doors for business several weeks ahead of the original timeline.
