One of the world's largest medical apparel manufacturers plans to consolidate seven U.S. warehouses into a single one in Dallas.

"We're consolidating our footprint, as well as our leases. But most importantly, we are investing in the latest automation technology and bringing all our brands together under one roof to deliver an industry-leading customer experience," said Sidharth Lakhani,chief operating officer of Careismatic Brands.

The new 1,014,254-square-foot facility will serve as a core part of the company's global distribution network, serving the U.S., Centraland Latin America, and parts of Canada.

Before leasing the Ares Global Management-owned property at 35550 LBJ Freeway, the company underwent a rigorous site selection process and study that took about four months and the touring of five to 10 buildings before signing a deal.

The study showed Dallas was the "ideal combination of location, labor force availability, and transportation to our customers as wellas on the in bound logistics side from the ports," said Lakhani.

Cresa's Jim Hazard and Brad Struck represented the tenant, while KBC Advisors' Nathan Lawrence and Krista Raymond represented Ares.
