Denver Facilities Consulting Firm Merges with Boston Tenant-Rep Company

Denver-based facilities consulting firm BGL has merged with the Denver operations of Cresa Global Inc., a Boston-based commercial real estate firm specializing in tenant representation.

BGL was founded in Denver in 1984 and provides facilities design and consulting, relocation management, and technical services to tenants. BGL has worked with clients such as Charles Schwab Corp., Visa Inc., Xcel Energy Inc., Whole Foods Market, and Wells Fargo & Co.

The two companies have been sharing office space at 1515 Arapahoe Street since 2014 and began to notice similarities in company culture and goals.


Cresa Denver Promotes Garrett Johnson to Managing Principal

Garrett Johnson, Managing PrincipalCresa Denver is pleased to announce the promotion of Garrett Johnson to Managing Principal. Brendan Fisher, Managing Principal of Cresa Denver, announced Johnson’s promotion and added “We are pleased to have Garrett join our leadership here in Denver. He has been an important member of our team and is a true leader within our organization." 

Johnson, a graduate of the University of Colorado Leeds School of Business, joined Cresa in 2007 and since that time has rapidly increased his roles within the company. In addition to his responsibilities in Denver, Garrett serves in a senior position on the Cresa Global Executive Leadership Council and is an active participant in the company’s technology practice. Bill Baldwin, Managing Principal and Member of the Cresa Global Board of Directors commented, “We are very pleased with Garrett's ascension to Managing Principal, he has provided important leadership both in the Denver office and our international organization.”  

Johnson, who has represented some of the areas most prominent technology companies including DigitalGlobe, IQNavigator, Altitude Digital and Tendril will share responsibilities for leadership and growth in the Denver office. On his promotion Garrett added, “I am very pleased to accept this position of trust and responsibility amongst my partners at Cresa. This is a great organization offering objectivity and principled advice to our clients and I look forward to continuing to build on the great tradition of Cresa locally and across the globe.”
