Description

The Director, M&A Integration is responsible for overall planning and oversight of the due diligence and integration process for M&A at Cresa. The Director will establish and monitor adherence to project management structures, processes, and tools across the company. Working with cross-functional teams, the Director will ensure management standards are upheld and clearly defined throughout the M&A life cycle. When M&A deals are not underway, the Director will support the FP&A and business development activities.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute comprehensive integration plans for M&A.
  • Serve as a key facilitator and driver of the due diligence, integration planning, and integration execution process of strategic initiatives company.
  • Develop and implement integration strategies, timelines, and plans to ensure a successful and seamless transition of acquired companies into the organization.
  • Partner closely with corporate teams, such as finance, legal, HR, and IT, to ensure timely and comprehensive execution against M&A work plans.
  • Assist in the integration of sales and pipeline management systems and processes.
  • Identify and problem-solve to mitigate risks and issues relating to due diligence and integration.
  • Conduct thorough financial and operational due diligence on potential M&A targets and provide recommendations to leadership on integration feasibility.
  • Collaborate with the corporate development team to inform deal underwriting with expected operating synergies and integration costs.
  • Track and manage transaction synergies across the business.
  • Prepare timely status reports, ensuring data accuracy and timely input from workstreams.
  • Develop program management best practice process and tools to facilitate risk assessment, change control process, due diligence and integration of all M&A.
  • Develop and maintain processes to track progress of M&A and high-value recruited producers against approved pro forma.
  • Monitor and report on progress toward deal earnouts and performance incentives.
  • Promote culture of integration and collaboration.
  • Work with FP&A lead to provide assistance in other matters.

Experience & Education

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years experience managing M&A process and deliverables
  • Expertise in Microsoft 365, specifically using Excel for financial modeling and PowerPoint for executive presentations, as well as program management tools
