Client Objectives

Boston base coworking operator Workbar reached out to Cresa to provide Project Management Services for Apaman, a Japanese based coworking operator establishing a foothold in the financial district of San Francisco.  Workbar’s Japanese client Apaman needed quick implementation of design and construction in an overheated building climate to complete the project for disbursement of the tenant improvement allowance before the dates outlined in the lease.

Results

Cresa worked with the design professionals of Analogue Studios on both coasts and onboarded a General Contractor, AV, and Cabling vendors through RFP processes in addition to coordinating the Boston based furniture dealership.

The lease and landlord representative defined an unusual process for disbursement of the tenant improvement allowance which required time sensitive reviews by legal counsel in Japan. Continual communication with the clients and follow up with the General Contractor allowed for the full amount to be disbursed on a tight schedule. Cresa provided on site updates to the remote client and design teams that resulted in the quick resolution of field issues. The finished space provides a light and airy environment for all Workbar members.
