Twenty-Five-Year Veteran Tim Rivers, Who Recently Led JLL Operations in Sunshine State, To Oversee Growth
Cresa, a brokerage firm that's aggressively growing in major markets across the United States, has hired a Florida leader who recently led JLL's operations in the Sunshine State.
The Chicago-based firm has tapped Tim Rivers to lead its charge in Florida. The brokerage confirmed the news late Monday.
Rivers most recently worked at JLL, where he was Florida market leader from September 2018 to February of this year. The Florida market leader position is a new role at Cresa.
"In this role, Tim will oversee the development and execution of Cresa’s market plan and growth strategies throughout Florida, building upon our existing momentum and presence in Miami and Orlando," Cresa President Greg Schementi said in an internal announcement to Cresa employees. Cresa provided the memo to CoStar News.
Cresa has been working to expand its presence across the country, a strategy that Schementi, who took over as president last month, said is at the core of his strategy. The firm is growing by hiring in some markets and acquiring existing firms in others.
