Washington, D.C. – November 30, 2020

Cresa, the world’s largest occupier-centric commercial real estate firm, has named Kristin MacCarthy as Chief Financial Officer. MacCarthy will lead Cresa’s Finance team, with a focus on finance and operational excellence, while also developing a capital plan to support the company’s recruitment and acquisition objectives. She will also be part of the firm’s Executive Committee, working alongside CEO Jim Underhill in the development and implementation of the firm’s strategic plan.

MacCarthy is a proven business leader with nearly 30 years of progressive financial management experience within successful business-to-business, consumer and distribution corporations. With an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, MacCarthy brings deep operational and financial expertise to Cresa.

“We are excited to welcome Kristin as our new Chief Financial Officer and an integral member of our leadership team,” said Cresa CEO Jim Underhill. “Her skills and experience will help take Cresa’s already robust momentum to the next level.”

“When I saw the opportunity at Cresa I was thrilled to be joining a company with such a great culture and tremendous upside for what we can become,” said MacCarthy. “I look forward to helping Jim and the rest of the leadership team continue the strategic growth efforts that are already delivering impressive results.”
