Client Objectives

e-Builder is a fully-integrated, owner-centric, cloud-based construction software focused exclusively on meeting the needs of facility owners and construction professionals. e-Builder was acquired by Trimble for $500 million dollars to expand its construction management solutions.

As Trimble finalized the acquisition of e-Builder, their lease in the long term Plantation headquarters space was expiring in little over one year. e-Builder had outgrown the space and needed to immediately create a more efficient workplace due to explosive growth fueled by the acquisition. They also had a desire to create a more modern workspace to attract and retain clients and talent, maintaining themselves as a beacon of the culture they had established in the 1990’s. Headcount projections were being updated on a daily basis and the office location was undecided based on several critical factors that were important to all major stakeholders. Cresa needed to be able to move quickly and work through several different scenarios in order to keep the project on schedule, addressing any new questions or new information as the requirement was being finalized.

Results

  • Attained $1,800,000+ in concessions from the Landlord for tenancy
  • Secured Expansion Rights in the event of additional growth
  • Achieved a solution that met the goals and needs of both Trimble and e-Builder’s legacy management
