California-based Careismatic Brands is consolidating distribution in Dallas.
A California-based medical apparel and footwear firm is locating a huge new shipping hub in Southern Dallas.
The more than 1 million square-foot building lease is the latest in a series of recent apparel products distribution centers to land in Southern Dallas County.
Careismatic Brands is taking all of the I-20 Logistics Park building located at 35550 LBJ Freeway near Dallas Avenue. It’s one of the largest warehouse leases in North Texas so far this year.
The new building is a development of Archway Properties and Ares Management (formerly Black Creek Group in this market). The Dallas office of commercial real estate firm Cresa negotiated the big lease.
Careismatic Brands is consolidating operations from multiple locations around the country into new Dallas location. The Southern Dallas site is near FedEx Ground’s major hub on Interstate-45.
“This site represents an important milestone on our journey to service our customers’ needs at a world-class standard,” Chief Operating Officer Sidharth Lakhani said in a statement. “Careismatic Brands is on a mission to rebuild our culture and reset our operating framework for the future.
“The site delivered through our partnership with Cresa is a huge step forward for us in achieving this.”
Careismatic Brands distributes a wide product line including medical uniforms and other apparel with brands including Cherokee Uniforms, Dickies, Allheart, healing hands, Medelita and others.
The company distributes its products in more than 50 countries worldwide.
The firm was founded in 1995 in Chatsworth, Calif with Cherokee Uniforms as its flagship brand. Careismatic Brands has operations in California, Dallas, China, Sweden and the United Kingdom.

Cresa’s Jim Hazard and Struck negotiated the lease with KBC Advisor’s Nathan Lawrence and Krista Raymond.
The Careismatic Brands distribution expansion follows several other recent large apparel firm deals in warehouses in Southern Dallas County.
Apparel and footwear firm Nike just leased a more than 1 million square-foot warehouse near I-45 in Wilmer.
And global apparel firm SanMar Corp. is looking at a new shipping hub in Southern Dallas.
Online apparel reseller ThredUp located a more than $50 million distribution center in Lancaster.
Expanding and relocating companies net leased more than 35 million square feet of warehouse space in North Texas in 2022.
The D-FW area leads the nation in industrial building activity with more than 80 million square feet of projects in the development pipeline.
