Viking was founded in 1997 with the purchase of four ships in Russia. In 2000, the company purchased Europe’s KD River Cruises in order to grow its fleet, to leverage 40 years of river cruising experience and to acquire rights to prime docking locations in key European cities. Viking Cruises was in-need of an Arizona space to hire 350 employees for their new reservation center.
Results
Cresa managed the transaction for Viking Cruises into 37,386 at Hayden Ferry. Viking was in need of immediate space to commence their hiring operations. Cresa was able to facilitate an immediate move-in facilitate operations of the 7th floor while the 6th floor was being constructed. After the first phase of 6th floor was completed which consisted of call center workstations and meeting spaces the 7th floor was constructed which consisted of training spaces.
