Cresa adds Doug Sharp as Advisor to Board of Directors

Chicago, IL – Cresa, the world’s largest occupier-centric commercial real estate firm, today announced the appointment of Doug Sharp as Advisor to its Board of Directors. Sharp previously served as President of JLL’s Corporate Solutions business and will help Cresa’s executive leadership continue to execute an aggressive growth strategy.

As President of JLL Corporate Solutions, Sharp oversaw all business lines including Consulting, Transaction Management, Project Management, Facilities Management, Engineering and Digital Solutions. He also founded JLL’s Innovation and Product Development (IPD) group, which was recognized by Fast Company, awarded CoreNet Global’s Innovation of the Year award and achieved more than $1B in revenues directly attributed to new services and capabilities. Previously, Doug led JLL’s Project and Development Services (PDS) business as its CEO and President.

“I am thrilled to be a part of Cresa’s growth journey and work with the leadership team on critical initiatives at this important time in the company’s history,” said Doug Sharp. “I have worked with many of Cresa’s leadership team members before and I am confident in their ability to continue to build a differentiated offering that provides best in class solutions for occupiers around the world.”

“Doug is a tremendous asset for us to have as an advisor to our Board of Directors,” said Tod Lickerman, Cresa CEO. “Having worked with him at previous companies for many years, I can tell you that there are few better suited to provide insight and guidance on how to grow our unique platform successfully.”

Cresa has recently added several high-level leadership team members, including Tricia Trester, Kathryn Ditmars and Kristin MacCarthy, all formerly of JLL, and announced a partnership with global real estate leader Knight Frank. Sharp will work with the team to continue to build out Cresa’s Global Portfolio Solutions and Consulting offerings, as well as assess M&A opportunities.
