Cresa Names JP Roach San Diego and Orange County Market Leader

Strategic hire underscores Cresa's ambitious Southern California expansion

Cresa, the world’s largest occupier-centric commercial real estate firm, has named JP Roach as an Executive Managing Principal and Market Leader for Orange County and San Diego. Roach is charged with driving Cresa’s strategic growth across both markets. In addition, he will serve alongside Los Angeles Co-Market Leaders Dennis Smith and Lawson Martin on Cresa’s Southern California leadership team, strengthening the firm’s client-focused approach across the region.

“JP joins us at a time of strategic growth and expansion in California,” said Gary Gregg, Cresa Chairman. “We are thrilled he is part of our team and look to his leadership to connect talent and resources across both markets and the region as a whole, making sure our clients have access to our full platform of services and are poised for success. We’re also grateful to Simon Terry Lloyd for his leadership in building our presence in San Diego—his contributions have positioned us well for this next phase of growth.”

Known for his exclusive focus on office, industrial, and high-tech manufacturing tenants, Roach, a former litigator and native Southern Californian, combines his legal and business backgrounds with local market expertise to craft customized solutions for his clients in the life sciences, technology, aerospace, defense, logistics, and legal sectors. He joins Cresa from Savills, where he was most recently an Executive Managing Director.

“Cresa is the premier place for tech-forward, occupier services and is absolutely supercharged for growth right now,” added Roach. “The firm’s unique, occupier-focused platform and entrepreneurial culture were the draw. I’m excited to join the team to help grow and lead the critically important Southern California market.”

Roach holds a BA from UC Santa Barbara, an MBA from Point Loma Nazarene University, and a JD from Thomas Jefferson School of Law. He is a member of the State Bar of California and admitted to practice before the United States District Court, Southern District of California
