As Senior Vice President of Cresa's Kansas City office, Matt Ledbetter is responsible for managing the day-to-day business activities of the Project Management team, including capital investments, tenant improvements and ground-up projects from their inception through completion. Matt is accountable for delivering overall project objectives to his client's by managing project planning, design and construction coordination, budget, scheduling and close-out.

Matt provides direction and leadership by overseeing all facets of projects including project planning, development, contract negotiation and administration, selection and coordination of designers and contractors, design, construction, furniture and equipment procurement and move management.

Prior to joining Cresa, Matt spent four years with CBRE in Kansas City as a Senior Project Manager where he oversaw wide scope of projects including tenant improvements, building additions and infrastructure build-outs for a variety of industries. Prior to that, he spent five years as a cost estimator, project engineer and superintendent with Turner Construction, managing construction budgets and schedules, preparing monthly profit projects and projecting risks.

    • Work closely with TranSystems leadership to incorporate company standards and develop and maintain project budgets 
    • Work with CBRE Brokerage and TranSystems leadership during lease conception and execution to ensure certain criteria are met within the lease 
  • Sporting Kansas City Soccer Stadium  
    • Direct management of the 3D coordination of the stadiums MEP and structural systems. This included daily management of 5+ design technicians to develop a 3D system that was used to pre-fabricate MEP systems prior to site installation. 
    • Assistant MEP engineer/superintendent.  
      • After completing the 3D coordination of the MEP and structural systems, Matt moved into the assistant engineer role reviewing submittals, RFIs, change proposals and coordinating pertinent information with the Owner’s Representative group.  
      • While performing Engineering functions, Matt also held the role as assistant superintendent. This role included management of the MEP trades field work, schedule adherence, quality control, etc. Matt was directly in charge of the IT/AV system field coordination as part of this role. 
  • Site Selection and Coordination Management  
    • Assist clients with coordinating design for test fits, producing high level and detailed budgets, producing detailed schedules and providing analysis of multiple sites for Site Selection and Stay vs. Go Scenarios
