Description

The Manager, Technology Implementation role involves detailed project planning, leading cross-functional teams, and ensuring technical expertise for successful technology implementations for Cresa’s Client Facing Technology team. Communication with stakeholders, quality assurance through testing, and ongoing management and support are critical to success in this role.

Responsibilities

Project Planning and Strategy:

  • Develop comprehensive project plans outlining goals, timelines, resources, and milestones for technology implementation projects.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and success criteria.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.

Implementation Management:

  • Lead cross-functional teams in the execution of technology implementation projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to procure necessary resources and services.
    • Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed to keep projects on track.

Technical Expertise:

  • Possess a strong understanding of relevant technologies and systems, including but not limited to software applications, hardware infrastructure, networking, and security protocols.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members on technical aspects of implementation projects.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry best practices to inform decision-making and optimize project outcomes.

Stakeholder Communication:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and risks.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between internal teams, external vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage expectations and address concerns or feedback from stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.

Quality Assurance and Testing:

  • Develop and implement testing strategies to ensure the quality and functionality of implemented technologies.
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and gather feedback from end-users to identify areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with technical teams to address and resolve any issues or bugs identified during testing.

Ongoing Management and Support:

  • Establish processes and procedures for the ongoing management and maintenance of implemented technologies.
  • Monitor system performance and user feedback to identify opportunities for optimization and enhancement.
  • Provide training and support to end-users to maximize the effectiveness and adoption of new technologies.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
  • Technical proficiency in relevant technologies and systems.

Experience & Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven experience (3+ years) in project management, particularly in technology implementation and integration.
