Emerald Transportation Solutions, the leader in lightweight composite refrigerated trucks and vans, has signed a lease to take over Norcom Inc.’s warehouse in Griffin, Georgia. Scott Hardeman of Cresa Global, Inc. represented Emerald Transportation in the lease transaction.

The deal was finalized with the building owner, Miami Souvenirs, for the 91,826-square-foot warehouse at 839 Everee Inn Road. The lease is for seven years with the company expected to take occupancy in August of 2021.

Emerald Transportation is currently occupying three warehouses at 185, 195 and 180 Etowah Trace, totaling approximately 26,000 square feet. The company will consolidate 185 and 195 Etowah Trace into the new facility to support the company’s strong growth projections. Emerald Transportation will continue to occupy 14,115-square-feet at 180 Etowah Trace. Scott Hardeman is in the process of additionally listing the company’s two existing warehouses.

Emerald Transportation’s new space is located one mile to GA Highway 41, 30 miles to Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, and 219 miles to the Port of Savannah. The warehouse in Griffin met all the building requirements with its proximity to employees, size and necessary outside storage space.

The building sits on approximately 18 acres and features 1 internal loading bay, a 19-foot clear height, 6 drive-in doors, 8 dock doors, and 3,300-square-feet of office space.
