NCARB Headquarters Wins IIDA Award

Cresa was honored to be part of the project team for the new headquarters space for the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB). The Mid-Atlantic Chapter of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) recently recognized OTJ Architects’ design of the headquarters at its 25th Annual Premiere awards gala (held virtually).

Cresa provided Transaction Management and Project Management services, partnering with Bognet Construction and OTJ Architects to build a beautiful, high end and sustainable space for NCARB. Unique finishes included terrazzo flooring, Teknion walls, a glass operable partition, and a wood veneer ceiling. The new headquarters is LEED Gold and Fitwell building standard certified.

The new headquarters aligns the physical space to NCARB’s organizational objectives by celebrating a 100-year old history, amplifying mission and culture, and supporting member outreach.

The Cresa project team includes Rich Rhodes, Christie Minch, Sam Heiber, Austin Evans, and Mike Hetchkop.
