Cresa Promotes principal in San Diego

Cresa has promoted Tommy Friedrich to principal in its San Diego, California, office.

In his expanded role, Friedrich will continue to represent regional and national occupiers in the life sciences, technology and corporate services industries.

Friedrich spent the past seven years at Cresa, a leading commercial real estate advisory firm that exclusively represents tenants, and his background is in analytical and quantitative analysis.

“Friedrich is in an excellent position to enhance the firm’s growing presence in San Diego,” Simon Terry-Lloyd, managing principal of Cresa’s San Diego of office, said in a corporate statement announcing the move. “We are proud to promote him to principal in our of office as we further to expand our occupier-centric platform throughout the region.”

Friedrich is a foundation board director for Cal State University San Marcos. He holds a master of international affairs and international business from University of California, San Diego and a bachelor of business and entrepreneurship from University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business, where he played water polo.
