The Center For Rheumatology (CFR), one of the largest practices of its kind in the Country, was growing its physician count and patient base rapidly in the Capital Region. With its lease about to expire, CFR engaged Cresa to assess its current space. The facility was vastly undersized; with Cresa’s assistance, CFR determined it would need to nearly double its footprint to accommodate its current needs and impending future growth.Results
Working closely with the Center For Rheumatology’s Project Team, Cresa instituted space standards to develop a final program for the practice. With this data, Cresa brought together CFR’s space needs, design requirements, and budget to capture alternative property options for its practice. Once a site was chosen, Cresa provided Owner’s Representation services, including Design and Construction bids, Project Oversight, Value Engineering, FF&E package bids, and Move Coordination. Relocating to its new address saved the Center for Rheumatology roughly $12.00 per square foot.Everyone here is loving the new space, it’s wonderful and open and everyone feel’s a new sense of ownership. The patients are loving the flow of the space and not only is the working functionality far better than anticipated but it’s absolutely gorgeous.The Center for Rheumatology
