Q4 2019: DFW Office Market Report

In 2019, the region added 130,100 residents and 81,800 new jobs, leading the nation in both categories. Population and employment growth is driving demand for new and enhanced space with favorable tenant amenities. DFW’s competitive cost of living, accessibility, and educated workforce has continued to make it attractive for corporate relocations and expansions.

The Texas economy is expected to outperform the U.S. in the near and long term. High costs in coastal markets have encouraged institutional investors to search for less expensive markets in order to obtain greater yields on their return. As a result, investment has continued to flow to DFW.
