Cresa Adds 36-Year Veteran From Colliers in Dallas

Cresa has added David Wetherington, who has more than three decades of commercial real estate experience, from Colliers in Dallas.

Wetherington joined Cresa, a global brokerage that exclusively works with occupiers, as a principal. Wetherington worked at Colliers for more than 12 years. He has been involved in lease and purchase transactions totaling more than 6 million square feet during his 36-year career, including a 220,000-square-foot headquarters for OneSource Virtual, a 120,000-square-foot headquarters relocation for Mortgage Contracting Services and a 90,000-square-foot lease for Microsoft.

The hiring of Wetherington is the latest move by Chicago-based Cresa to grow its Texas operations over the past 24 months. Earlier this year, Cresa Dallas added Mitch Wolff and Joe Siglin, and in September, adviser Chelby Sanders also joined the Dallas office.

Sharon Morrison, managing principal and Cresa's Texas market leader, said in a statement that adding Wetherington is a big move for the brokerage, "especially at a time when site selection decisions are more important than ever."
