Retirement Announcement: Donna Banks

Please join Cresa Alberta in extending our best wishes to Donna Banks, who has retired from her long and distinguished career in the commercial real estate industry. Donna began her profession over 40 years ago with Royal Lepage Commercial Real Estate where she specialized in tenant representation, became the first sales-only, female Vice President and was the one of the top brokers in Calgary in the late 90’s and early 2000’s. Being one of the few female commercial real estate brokers at the time, we’re proud to say that Donna has paved the way for many more women to create successful careers in this industry, no small accomplishment.

In 2003, Cresa Alberta, then Moss Realty Inc., was fortunate to have Donna join our team as Senior Vice President. During her time at Cresa, Donna has worked with some of the largest tenants in Calgary over the years and has consistently been one of the top revenue producers at Cresa Alberta. She has been instrumental in the growth of the company for the past 20 years and her reputation in the industry is, and will continue to be, one of the most respected.

While establishing her flourishing career, Donna has always been and continues to be, heavily involved in volunteering and community efforts, namely her time as Board Chair for Calgary Catholic Family Services and a Founding Chair of the Unlocking Potential Foundation. Her dedication to supporting those most vulnerable in the community is just one example of Donna’s generous and highly principled character. Donna is also proud of her accomplishments as a mother to her daughter Hannah and her son Nathan.

A Message from the Principals of Cresa Alberta

"The principals of Cresa Alberta would like to acknowledge and thank Donna for her 20+ years of loyal and dedicated service to her clients. Donna was a pioneer in the industry and early in her career was one of the only female brokers in Calgary’s commercial real estate industry. We wish Donna all the best in her retirement and will miss her charisma and charm in the office and will carry on her unwavering dedication to her client’s best interests. We are proud of our time together, the accomplishments made and want to thank Donna for her loyalty and contribution over the years."

We invite those who have had the privilege of working with her to share their best wishes with Donna for a wonderful and happy retirement.

Congratulations Donna!
