esrp Merges into Cresa - will lead Texas operations

The strategic move bolsters Cresa’s reach, resources and talent across Texas and beyond

Chicago, IL – May 2, 2022 – Cresa, the world’s largest occupier-focused commercial real estate firm, has announced today that leading Texas-based tenant representation firm, esrp, has merged with the company. Dallas-Fort Worth based esrp will add nearly 50 team members to the Cresa platform. Through its Texas offices located at The Star in Frisco, the Dallas Arts District, and Cresa’s Houston Galleria office, esrp will lead Cresa’s existing teams and build a presence in Austin.

Founded in 2013, esrp is a leading commercial real estate advisory firm, providing multi-market corporate and occupier advisory services, assisting clients in over 40 countries. In its nine years, esrp’s leadership has created an industry-leading organization serving notable clients including NTT DATA Services, Riddell, Mattress Firm, 7-Eleven and Neiman Marcus.

esrp has been recognized as a Dallas Business Journals “Best Places to Work” every year since its inception and was recently recognized by Inc. Magazine as one of “The Best Companies to Work for in America”.

As Texas remains center stage in the country as one of the best-insulated markets, businesses and residents continue relocating to the state. The integration allows Cresa to fortify its presence and capacity throughout Texas with esrp’s strong leadership, notable performance, and perfect positioning to drive growth and influence across the region. The cultural alignment between the two companies will drive the integration, based upon a strategic and consultative approach of supporting occupiers only, rather than a transactional model.

“We are thrilled to welcome esrp to the Cresa family. The level of success and caliber of clients established within their first nine years is rare,” said Cresa CEO, Tod Lickerman, “We admire esrp’s strategic, consultative and conflict-free, client-first reputation. We have found a like-minded partner who sees this business the same way and aligns perfectly with Cresa’s operating model and company culture.”

“We see the future of Cresa,” said esrp CEO Sharon Morrison, “When our leadership met Tod and Cresa’s executive leadership, we were extremely impressed with them and their proven history of driving growth and value creation. We are excited about the talent, passion and vision of this leadership team. Further continuing to fulfill our mutual focus of serving clients, without conflicts, was paramount for us in deciding to merge with Cresa.”

Morrison will join Cresa’s Board of Directors. esrp’s five additional partners, Darren Woodson, Karra Guess, Damian Rivera, Jim Hazard and Brad Struck will become Managing Principals of Cresa and will continue to lead the Texas operations with Morrison.

“We are extremely proud of what esrp has accomplished for our clients and what we can achieve together with Cresa,” added esrp Managing Partner, Darren Woodson. “We look forward to strengthening those we serve, continuing our best-in-class service, and providing even more dynamic ways to deliver the best resources and results for our clients.”

Cresa’s primary Dallas-Fort Worth office will be at esrp’s existing headquarters located within the Dallas Cowboys headquarters at The Star in Frisco.
