RCCA Continues Expansion with Build-to-Suit Lease in Sparta
Regional Cancer Care Associates will more than double its footprint in Sparta, following a build-to-suit lease negotiated by Cresa’s New Jersey-based Medical Practice Group.
Managing Principals Jonathan Marks and Dennis Gralla represented Teaneck-based RCCA in the new 10,000-square-foot project, Cresa exclusively revealed to NJBIZ Nov. 7.
Oncology and hematology provider RCCA will move from its current, 4,730-square-foot location at 89 Sparta Ave. later this month to open at 210 Woodport Road in Sparta.
“Our new location allows us to expand our oncology care for patients and provide access to advanced treatment options in a new, modern environment,” commented RCCA Chief Executive Officer Terrill Jordan. “Our commitment to supporting local communities with high-quality cancer care remains our driving force, and this new space in Sparta highlights that mission.”
Gralla and Marks also represented RCCA in its headquarters move to Glenpointe in Teaneck last year.
Collaborating with Cresa
Serving New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maryland and the Washington, D.C., area, RCCA says it is one of the largest networks of cancer care physicians in the U.S. Regional Cancer Care Associates has 19 locations across the Garden State. The organization boasts more than 100 cancer specialists providing community-based care. According to RCCA, its oncologists and hematologists see over 27,000 new patients each year and provide care to more than 260,000 established patients.
In addition to RCCA’s headquarters move, Gralla and Marks have arranged several other new or expanded locations for the provider. Those include 12,587 square feet of space in North Bergen, 7,800 square feet in Riverdale and 6,000 square feet in Holmdel. Outside New Jersey, the team’s work for RCCA includes securing 11,023 square feet in Manchester, Conn., as well as more than 3,000 square feet of space in Olney, Md.
According to Cresa, the duo has arranged multiple Chapter 800-compliant projects (adhering to guidelines for the safe handling of hazardous drugs) throughout the Northeast working in collaboration with Cresa’s New Jersey Project Management team, led by Justin Eagle, and architect Bill Kimmerle of Kimmerle Newman.
Last month, Marks and Gralla assisted New Jersey Brain and Spine in expanding its footprint with a relocation to Paramus.
