Michael P. Hickey Award Honors Service Providers Who Exemplify the Spirit of IAMC
On April 9, 2024, the Industrial Asset Management Council (IAMC), honored Jim Hazard, SIOR, Managing Principal, Cresa, with its Michael P. Hickey Award. The award is named for longtime supporter of IAMC Michael Patrick Hickey who lost a battle with cancer in July 2009. Hazard accepted the award at the IAMC Spring Professional Forum being held in Greenville, SC.
Criteria for the award include:
• Being a stalwart ambassador for IAMC
• Upholding the highest standards of ethics and integrity in the profession
• Giving back to the industry
• Working to make this world a better place
• Serving as a mentor within the profession
"Jim is a leader within IAMC who contributes in meaningful ways to both the association and the industry at large," said J. Tate Godfrey, CEcD, president & CEO of IAMC. "Heis a natural mentor and has helped foster some of IAMC’s most successful initiatives."

IAMC has been recognizing outstanding service providers with the Michael P. Hickey Award since 2010. Former honorees also include Ashley Snyder, Principal of Cresa, who received the award at the 2021 IAMC Spring Professional Forum held in Fort Worth, Texas.
