The new numbers from the Bureau of Labor Statistics came out today (5/22/20) for April state unemployment and they're pretty staggering - some states having up to 1/4 of their labor force unemployed. This is a huge jump compared to the March data release. Check out the updated report below for more info.

1. Louisiana: 6.9%
2. Nevada: 6.3%
3. West Virginia: 6.1%
Highest Unemployment Rates for April
1. Nevada: 28.2%
2. Michigan: 22.7%
3. Hawaii: 22.3%
