With the adoption of a hybrid work model during the pandemic, the Valmet Charlotte office took advantage of the opportunity to achieve rental savings by rightsizing the physical size of the office space. .
Results
Upon lease renewal negotiations, Cresa was able to help Valmet reduce its premises by 5,993 rentable square feet.In addition to Cresa’s involvement with the transaction, services included construction oversight, weekly progress reports, punch walk participation, branding, financial review and analysis, decommissioning of the reduced premises and job closeout. Project savings included not only an increase in the landlord's tenant improvement allowance, but also reconciliation and reduction of architectural & engineering and project management expenses at job completion.
