- Cresa was hired to evaluate Stibo Systems’ current real estate position at their existing building in Kennesaw that they had occupied for 10+ years. Stibo Systems needed to quantify the market rate increase they would experience with a renewal vs. moving to a new space and possibly a new submarket.
- Stibo was going through a brand refresh and wanted their space to reflect their brand and culture for marketing and recruiting purposes.
Results
- Cresa evaluated over 40 buildings in three separate submarkets and ended up focusing on the Kennesaw (current building) and Cumberland submarkets.
- The final decision to move was based on the economics that Cresa was able to negotiate, the quality of the building, and the buildout design. By doing this, Stibo Systems was able to move from a Class B building to a Class A building and not have to live through the pain of construction for 6 months as their current space was refreshed.
- Cresa’s Project Management team was hired to guide Stibo Systems through the design and furniture selection process. The new buildout includes the new and improved Stibo Systems branding throughout the space, exposed cables and pipelines to showcase the company’s “modern, technology feel,” and views overlooking the Atlanta skyline.
- Cresa created a work environment that fostered its Workplace 2.0 “Work from Anywhere” approach. With plenty of collaboration and meeting spaces, Stibo employees were given the resources and opportunities to complete work anywhere, whether that be in the office or beyond.
